How to wrap using Fabric Gift Wrap & Ribbon
Wrapping presents in cloth can seem a little daunting at first. Some have never seen it done or received a gift wrapped in cloth. Wrapping with Cabban & Co Fabric Gift Wrap is really simple once you’ve seen it done.
So here are instructions for wrapping with our Fabric Gift Wrap in a few different formats:

Use the fabric gift wrap just as you would paper
- Fold the fabric tight against the gift
- To create a sharp folded edge; push along the fabric wrap with your finger nail and it will crease easily
- Adjust creases at the end: you can “arrange” any minor flaws after it’s wrapped
Guiding Principles of using Fabric Gift Wrap
- The gift should be no more than half the length of the Fabric
- Always wrap on the diagonal
- Be creative & follow your instincts – if you don’t need both ribbons, just use one… it’s up to you
- Have a practise and a play – there won’t be any waste and you can just try again
- Remember you can adjust the fabric and ribbon after it’s all tied up

Arrange the wrap in a diamond shape in front of you with the ribbons stretched out to the sides.
Attach the ribbons to the fabric using the buttons so that you see the buttons on the printed side of the fabric
Place the gift in the centre with the longest side in line with the ribbons
Fold the corner (with the Cabban & Co hanging tag) towards you, over the gift, and tuck it under the gift
Bring the opposite corner over the gift, folding the corner under if you prefer
Pinch the sides tight against the top corners of the gift and pull up & over
Repeat on the other side. Pull the ribbons tight and wrap them around the gift, tying at the front or back.
